About

Laura DeBrizzi

We are empowered by passion and enthusiasm.

Who didn’t love the ’90s? I know I did! It was during this decade – a decade uniquely defined by both the grunge of Nirvana and the gangsta rap of Dr. Dre – where I set in motion my passion for all things entertainment into a tangible career with my first internship at NBC’s “Press and Publicity” Department at the age of twenty and never looked back.

Since 1994, I’ve worked with talent across several mediums (Film, Television and Music) both behind and in front of the camera; these experiences equipped me to be the Reporter I am today: One who can think quickly on her feet while simultaneously absorbing not only the nuances of her subject, but also the supporting players who pop in and out of the story that I’m following.

Bill Cosby; Bob Newhart; Matt Lauer; Tony and Emmy Award winner, Judith Light; Grammy winning artists from the teen heartthrob group *NSYNC – specifically JC Chasez and Joey Fatone; the ubiquitous groundbreaking television creator, Norman Lear; Emmy- Winner, Valerie Harper; Soap legends such as Anthony Geary (Luke Spencer; yes, THAT Luke from “General Hospital’s” Luke and Laura) and Maurice Benard (“General Hospital’s” Sonny Corinthos); touted authors like Caleb Carr and Ann Rule; Rap greats Queen Latifah and Mos Def; and Broadway players like Taye Diggs and Jesse L. Martin, have all been featured in articles written by yours truly.

But no matter who I have the privilege to cover, the goal for me is always the same:

  1. Tell the story. No frills. No hyperbole. Just the truth… and if some egos become bruised in the process, so be it, because there is nothing more valuable than the story.
  2. Make the reader feel as if he/she is right beside me with each line read.

It’s that simple.
